Parenting magazine poll
I was just catching up on some reading at lunch time and I read a poll in the March 2006 issue of Parenting magazine. They asked readers “Which celeb would you trust most to leave your child with on a playdate? The responses were 76% Jennifer Garner, 18% Katie Holmes, and 6% Britney Spears. It doesn’t say how many people responded, but I’m sort of floored by the fact that 6% of them actually picked Britney.

yes, very surprising that 6% would pick Britney . . . But then, I'm a little surprised that people whould leave their kids with complete strangers-- while at the same time trying tofigure out: who would I pick? I'm thinking an older mom-- like Jamie Lee Curtis or the chic from Panic Room/Contact (why can't I remember her name?). . . or Goldie Hawn?
Oh, I know-- Will & Jada Pinkett Smith. They grew up in localities I'm familiar with (MD & Philly), they seem really smart and conscientious, and they have kids from ages 12 to little.
hey-- you only have 17 days left! Unless the little one came early, that is . . . . !
